Texans Place Jayden Higgins on Season-Ending IR

The Houston Texans have placed wide receiver Jayden Higgins on injured reserve for the remainder of the 2026 season due to a torn ACL.

Higgins injured his knee during a joint practice with the Raiders on Tuesday. The 2025 second-round pick landed awkwardly in the end zone during an 11-on-11 red zone drill. toffler.lol

He started 10 games last season with 525 receiving yards and six touchdowns. His absence elevates Xavier Hutchinson, Tank Dell, and Jaylin Noel in the Texans' offense, with Dell and Noel continuing injury recoveries.
