Topps to Release NFL Cards Again in 2025

Topps will release its first NFL trading cards since 2016, launching the 2025 Chrome Football set on April 15. The set features one‑of‑one rookie patch cards and gold‑shield honors autographs.

Topps, acquired by Fanatics Collectibles in 2022, will issue its first NFL trading cards since 2016 after Fanatics secured a multi‑year license with the NFL and NFLPA. The debut set, 2025 Topps Chrome Football, drops on April 15.

It includes one‑of‑one Rookie PREM1ERE Patch Autograph Cards featuring patches worn in a player’s first regular‑season game, such as top pick Cam Ward, and one‑of‑one NFL Honors Gold Shield Autograph Cards honoring 2024 award winners like Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Patrick Surtain II, Jayden Daniels and Jared Verse.
