Tour de France Femmes Stage Three: Pieterse Claims Mountain Points

Puck Pieterse secured 10 mountain points on Col de la Faucille while race leader Lorena Wiebes' group trails. Dina Boels has abandoned the race after finishing last yesterday.

With 129km remaining in stage three, Puck Pieterse became the first rider over the Col de la Faucille, earning 10 points in the mountain classification ahead of Nikola Noskova. The peloton is nearly 1km ahead of the group containing current race leader Lorena Wiebes. wlop.pl

Earlier in the stage, Dina Boels abandoned the race. The Belgian rider finished 139th and last in yesterday's second stage, just making it within the time limit.
