Towns Powers Knicks Past Bulls in 105-99 Win

Karl-Anthony Towns recorded his NBA-leading 39th double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds, helping the New York Knicks defeat the Chicago Bulls 105-99 for their second straight victory.

Towns scored six consecutive points after Chicago took a 95-94 lead with 3:52 remaining, while Mikal Bridges added a crucial 3-pointer with 27 seconds left. Jalen Brunson contributed 19 points and nine assists for New York.

The Bulls suffered their ninth consecutive loss, their longest skid since January 2019. Landry Shamet added 16 points for the Knicks, who improved to 44.7% shooting from the floor. Both teams played without key players: Chicago was missing injured guards Jaden Ivey and Anfernee Simons, while New York sat center Mitchell Robinson.
