UNC Hiring NBA's Mike Malone as Basketball Coach

University of North Carolina reportedly plans to hire former Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone as its next men's basketball head coach, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Malone, who won the NBA Championship with the Nuggets in 2022-23, brings over 510 wins as an NBA head coach to Chapel Hill. The move comes as UNC looks to fill its coaching vacancy.
