Efter flere års ventetid på faste nyheder om, hvordan Fast and Furious-franchisen skal rundes ordentligt af, ser det ud til, at arbejdet snart begynder på den 11. og sidste film i serien. Oplysningerne kommer fra Vin Diesel selv, da stjernen bag Dom Toretto fortalte til Variety, at produktionen på Fast Forever, som filmen hedder, skydes i gang i december.

"We start shooting in December, if I can make good on the request from the studio."

Diesel løftede derefter sløret for, at ventetiden på filmen til dels skyldes de hyppige omskrivninger, projektet har været igennem, da man har brugt fire forskellige hold forfattere for at sikre, at manuskriptet endte et sted, som Diesel var tilfreds med.

"I'm going to tell you something personal. It was after four different writers, four years of development, and after I read the script, halfway through, one tear. By the end of the script that we crafted and worked so hard to make right for you after four years, I was crying. I couldn't hold it back, and I had to tell everyone. And my sister said, 'No more crying, bro.' So I just want to say that sometimes, even the toughest guys in the world need to cry."

Som det ser ud lige nu, er Fast Forever sat til at få biografpremiere den 17. marts 2028, hvilket betyder, at produktionen sandsynligvis skal forløbe uden problemer, hvis filmen skal nå den premieredato. Selv hvis produktionen går i gang i december, vil den formentlig tage mindst et par måneder for en film af denne skala, bredde og omkostning, hvilket betyder, at der vil være omkring et år afsat til post-production - og i betragtning af de effekter, der bruges i moderne Fast and Furious-film, kan det blive en temmelig stram tidsplan.

1892 Holdings, the new investor in Liverpool, has first refusal to become the majority shareholder in the next 12 months should Fenway Sports Group decide to sell.

The consortium led by Amit Bhatia and including the Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was believed to have bought 30% to one-third of Liverpool when the deal was announced on Friday. However, the agreement is for 38% of the Anfield club, meaning 1892 has paid FSG just over £2bn to become a minority shareholder.
