According to reports from The Athletic and the Miami Herald, the entire Florida delegation is expected on March 5 for a meeting with President Donald Trump.

Still according to the Miami Herald, "all" members of the club are expected to attend this formal reception, suggesting that Lionel Messi will be present. Such an appearance would be highly symbolic for the Argentine star, who has been the centerpiece of the American club’s sporting project since his arrival.

This official visit would take place on the eve of Inter Miami's trip to Washington to face DC United in the league. If confirmed, it would follow the American tradition of champion teams being honored by the President of the United States after major sporting triumphs.
