Ange-Yoan Bonny and Luis Henrique both caught the eye as Inter Milan cruised past Genoa 2-0 at San Siro, with Corriere dello Sport describing the French and Brazilian pair as more than simply sparkling.
Indeed, it is a welcome sign of improvement from two players pushing for more regular starting roles.
According to the Corriere, via FCInterNews, Inter are now sailing comfortably toward the derby on the back of this victory, with the squad responding emphatically to their Champions League elimination.
The outlet reserved their highest rating once again for Federico Dimarco, whose opener drew particular admiration.
Corriere described his volley as “simply delicious,” with the wing-back smacking the ball into the corner with trademark precision.

Bonny and Luis Henrique both received 7s, half a point behind their teammate but ahead of the rest of the squad.
Sommer, Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu all earned slightly above average marks.
Meanwhile De Vrij, Carlos Augusto, Barella, Zielinski and Pio Esposito received a functional 6 apiece.
The notable underperformers were Akanji, Bisseck and Thuram.
Indeed, all three falling below the pass mark.
Corriere were particularly pointed on the Frenchman, noting that “the hunt for Thuram’s best version continues” after another underwhelming outing.
“He does not shine even in his third start with Lautaro sidelined,” the outlet observed, a growing concern for Chivu as the season enters its most important phase.
Chivu himself earned a 7 for another composed managerial performance.
