Cardiff City 1-3 Wrexham

Wrexham bolstered their Adran Premier title hopes with a 3-1 victory over reigning champions Cardiff City.

Following a goalless first half, Faye Knox put the visitors in front 10 minutes into the second half at Cardiff City Stadium.

Mackenzie Olden levelled proceedings in the 73rd minute to set-up an intriguing finale in the Welsh capital.

But Katie Barker's stunner put Jenny Sugarman's side back ahead, with Barker adding her second of the afternoon from the penalty spot three minutes from time after Mariam Mahmood had been brought down.

Victory moves Wrexham - who beat Iain Darbyshire's side on penalties to win the Adran Trophy six days earlier - to within a point of the Bluebirds, and the north Wales side have a game in hand over Cardiff.

The two sides meet again on Sunday, 8 March in the semi-finals of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup.

The New Saints 2-5 Swansea City

Chloe Chivers scored a first-half hat-trick as the visitors comfortably beat The New Saints. Tiggy Webb's effort was all the hosts had to show for the opening period. After the break Chantelle Tear gave TNS hope, but Eilish Mitchell put Swansea two goals clear and Chivers added her fourth to seal the win that left them third and TNS fourth in the table.

Pontypridd United 0-5 Aberystwyth Town: Another heavy defeat for Pontypridd confirmed they will be relegated at the end of the season. The hosts remain without a point after 15 losses in 15 starts. On this occasion Amy Jenkins' early brace set the tone for what was to follow with Rebecca Mathias, Dani Mawle and Millie Gardner also finding the target. Aberystwyth remain second from bottom.

Briton Ferry Llansawel 1-1 Barry Town United: Honours were even in this south Wales encounter. Maia Owen struck first for the hosts as the first-half whistle beckoned. But Erin Murray made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 76th minute to earn Barry the draw that left the teams tied on 18 points apiece in fifth and sixth in the table respectively.
