After a wrestler broke a six-week winning streak last week, the Feb. 2-8 Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week honors returned to the hardwoods. Martin finished first, followed by Gibraltar Carlson's Luke Sliwinski (4,839 votes) and Airport's Aidyn Stahr (2,403 votes). Mya Stahr of Airport's girls team placed fourth with 1,066 votes.
Voting for the Feb. 9-15 poll, sponsored by Sunny Skies, is now open and will close at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18.
