FIA relaxes Australia GP curfews as F1 teams reroute staff

F1 personnel successfully reached Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix despite regional travel disruptions, prompting the FIA to waive standard curfews.

F1 teams arrived in Melbourne for the season opener after rerouting staff via alternative flights to avoid conflicts in the Middle East. Despite widespread travel shutdowns, no operational issues were reported.

In response to the disruptions, the FIA announced it would not enforce the standard curfews on Wednesday and Thursday nights, citing force majeure. McLaren and Mercedes team members have also departed Bahrain for testing.
