Indiana, Illinois Battle for Bears Stadium

Indiana's Senate has passed a bill by a 45-4 vote that would help fund a stadium near the Illinois border, sending it to Governor Mike Braun's desk. Meanwhile, an Illinois legislative committee has advanced a bill to support building a stadium on property the Bears own in Arlington Heights.

Both states are moving toward decision-making time as the Bears have yet to finalize any deal. While there's no indication of a lakefront stadium in Chicago, the competition between Indiana and Illinois intensifies with each legislative advancement.
