Iran Women Face South Korea in Asian Cup Amid Homeland Attacks

Iran's women's national team is preparing for their Asian Cup opener against South Korea despite massive attacks on their homeland.

The 26-strong squad arrived on the Gold Coast days before the strikes, receiving "full support and assistance" from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Coach Marziyeh Jafari and captain Zahra Ghanbari remain focused on showcasing the team's potential and qualifying for the 2027 World Cup.
