Liverpool urged to replace Salah with Kvaratskhelia

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey suggests PSG's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as a successor to Mohamed Salah, acknowledging the difficulty of finding a direct replacement.

Emile Heskey told OLBG that while you cannot replace Mohamed Salah, he favors PSG forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as the ideal successor. The Georgian international has recorded 16 goals and 14 assists in 63 appearances for the French giants following his €80m move from Napoli.

Sources previously reported Liverpool made a €100m bid for Kvaratskhelia, which Napoli rejected before sanctioning his transfer. Despite Salah remaining under contract until 2027, planning for his succession is a priority for manager Arne Slot.
