Macy Brown came off the bench to score eight straight points, including a pair of 3-pointers, to tie the game at 86. Syla Swords added 22 points with four 3-pointers for Michigan.
Ohio State's Jaloni Cambridge sent the game to overtime with three free throws with 0.6 seconds remaining. She finished with 22 points, while Chance Gray added 19 and Elsa Lemmila had 11 points with 15 rebounds. The Buckeyes (23-6, 12-5) have now dropped three of their last four games.
