Pickens Strikes Out 15 as Tennessee Remains Undefeated

Karlyn Pickens pitched a complete game, throwing 124 pitches with 15 strikeouts as the top-ranked Lady Vols improved to 19-0 on the season. The right-handed pitcher allowed just two hits and two runs while striking out 15 batters.

Tennessee's offense totaled nine hits against Appalachian State, including a three-run home run by Ella Dodge in the eighth inning. The Lady Vols recorded four two-out RBIs and will return to action on Tuesday against Belmont at 5 p.m. EST on SEC Network+.
