Rockford to Host 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals

The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that Rockford will host the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals, the championship’s second stage, at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19‑25. The city also hosted the Group Stage in July 2026, marking the first time the event has been held in Illinois.

The finals will crown the world’s best women’s baseball team, with Japan having won the last seven titles and Team USA the first two. Rockford’s commitment to women’s baseball and its world‑class facilities, including the upcoming renovation of Beyer Stadium, earned it the honor.
