WNBA Union Sends Counterproposal with Revenue Sharing and Housing Concessions

The WNBA players’ union has sent a counterproposal to the league, requesting 26% of gross revenue and revised housing provisions, with a deadline of March 10 for a new CBA.

The union’s offer keeps its 26% share of gross revenue and reduces its previous 27.5% demand, while the league had proposed over 70% of net revenue.

Housing terms remain that teams provide accommodation for all players in the early years, but after a few years teams would not be required to house players earning at least 75% of the maximum salary. A deal by March 10 would allow the season to start on time.
