Carmel Extends Title Streak to 12 at IHSAA Swimming Finals

Carmel High School captured its 12th straight IHSAA boys swimming championship with 408 points, topping Penn and Homestead. Evansville-area swimmers Ozzy Jankowski and Caden Zeidler earned podium finishes in individual events.

Carmel High School extended its title streak to 12 years, scoring 408 team points at the IHSAA boys swimming and diving state championship held at the Indiana University Natatorium. The Greyhounds outpaced Penn (247) and Homestead (201) to secure the top spot.

From the Evansville area, Mount Vernon’s senior Ozzy Jankowski finished third in the 100‑fly (48.69) and fourth in the 100‑back (49.74). Memorial’s Caden Zeidler earned fifth in the 100‑free (45.59) and seventh in the 50‑free (20.84), a notable achievement for a freshman‑year starter.
