New Zealander Daniel Hillier defeated Australian Lucas Herbert by two shots to claim the 105th New Zealand Open title.

Hillier carded a final-round 67 to finish at 22-under par, overcoming challenging winds and cold conditions.

Herbert finished second at 20-under and will earn a spot at The Open Championship. This victory marks Hillier's first national open win since 2017.
