Hornets' Knueppel Breaks NBA Rookie 3-Point Record

Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel broke the NBA rookie record for most 3-pointers made in a single season on Saturday, surpassing Keegan Murray's previous mark of 206 three-pointers set during the 2022-23 season.

Knueppel tied Murray's record late in the first half of the game, going 5-for-8 on 3-pointers in the opening frame. The rookie had an opportunity to break the record before halftime but missed a contested turnaround shot at the buzzer.
